The Housing with Care Awards, run by Care Talk, recognises and celebrates excellence in accommodation and services for Integrated Retirement Communities, people with learning disabilities and people with mental health problems, assisted living, extra care housing, supported living and shared lives schemes.

According to the recent report the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE), A place we can call home, “In the future, if people are to move into housing with care and support, a good choice of options must be available locally so we are not simply ‘placed’ in a one-size-fits-all approach to care.”

The purpose of the awards is to celebrate excellence and diversity in the sector, pay tribute to the frontline workforce and raise awareness of the different housing and retirement models to suit all needs.
